My journey as a painter began with a simple fascination for the way light falls across a meadow at dawn. I've spent years since then trying to catch that feeling: the quiet of a landscape, the softness of a flower just opening. Every painting starts with me spending time with the subject, and the brush does the rest. I found that acrylic paints allowed me to accomplish this.
Along the way I kept running into the same problem. I wanted a way to add depth and a certain glow to my work without losing the texture of the paint underneath. I experimented for a long time, testing and adjusting, and plenty of it didn't work. Eventually I landed on something I was really happy with, and that became Christina Gallery. It brings out the colour and gives each piece a finish that makes it feel alive, while still looking and feeling hand-made. I now use it on my own paintings, and it's become part of how I work.
I take commissions too, so if you have a particular scene or flower in mind, I'd love to hear about it. Everything I make is done by hand, and I want you to end up with something that feels personal to you.
